Found the pendant thimble has worn completely through to the rope. The pendant rope & sides of the thimble are still intact for now, but recommend replacing the pendant ASAP. For the new pendant, recommend using a stainless thimble in the new pendant (spar buoy end) to prevent galvanic corrosion with the stainless spar buoy pin - using a stainless thimble on the stainless spar pin will last much longer.
Found a non-stainless steel cotter pin had been used for one side of the spar buoy top pin. Removed the improper cotter pin & replaced it with a stainless steel pin.
Other than the pendant, this mooring is in very good shape.
